Leadership Strategies Group (LSG) was founded by Dr. Randy Capps in 1994 in Bowling Green, KY as a human performance improvement firm. His vision was to help organizations locally and across the United States to reach higher levels of success by delivering customized solutions. Wallace Herndon became a partner providing Human Resource services. Throughout the years several facilitators joined the team, making LSG renowned in the region and across the US.

In 2021 Dr Capps and Wallace Herndon, along with a few other professionals, decided to form a non-profit, Kentucky Center for Leadership (KC4L). Their vision was to see a positive impact on the quality of life in Kentucky and the surrounding area through leadership. Since then, all leadership related services are offered through KC4L, while all recruitment, outplacement, and HR related services continue through LSG.

Unfortunately, Wallace Herndon passed away in 2021, followed by Dr. Capps in 2022. We want to honor both these outstanding men for their vision, integrity, professionalism, and legacy. For twenty-nine years all of us at LSG take great pride in providing creative support to our clients, which include non-profits, Fortune 100 and 500 companies, public agencies, global corporations, small and large businesses, municipalities, universities, and associations. 

Our passion is to help our clients improve their productivity and profitability by developing and aligning their people and processes to reach higher levels of success. We provide recruiting services aligned with the mission and vision of the organization. When necessary, outplacement services help ease the employees’ transition to their next career. All human resources related workshops seamlessly link the training to other performance interventions ensuring successful outcomes.
